About
At Stilldroneinon, we soar beyond the horizon, turning the sky into a canvas of endless possibilities. I'm James Henry, and my evolution from drone hobbyist to professional pilot began with a pure passion for photography.
It was the 2 weeks of filming the Flying 15s World Championship Hosted by Royal Freshwater Bay yacht club out of Fremantle Sailing Club that inspired me to get my Drone license, I transformed this passion into a thriving business in 2023.
What started as a volunteer gig for the Yacht Clubs has blossomed into a fulfilling career. I now capture stunning aerial footage for Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club, South of Perth Yacht Club and West Australia International Optimist Dingy Association. My aim with the drone footage is to inspire young sailors to take up the sport of sailing. With every flight, I embrace the challenge of getting that perfect video while flying within CASA's rules and regulations.
In five to ten years, I envision myself consistently capturing breathtaking footage—whether it be yacht races, weddings, or other special events. My goal is to earn a reasonable income while doing what I have come to love . The joy of seeing people engrossed in the footage I capture, like the time competitors were so captivated watching a race they had just competed in, on the Jervoise Bay Sailing Clubs TV. Due to the interest in the race they had to postpone the presentation until after the race was finished before the competitors would let them start the presentation for the Outrigger Canoe Club State Titles.
Join me on this journey as we explore new heights and capture unforgettable moments from above.
